A quick heads up: NASA has just announced that it has released its “2017–2018 softÂware catÂaÂlog, which offers an extenÂsive portÂfoÂlio of softÂware prodÂucts for a wide variÂety of techÂniÂcal appliÂcaÂtions, all free of charge to the pubÂlic, withÂout any royÂalÂty or copyÂright fees.”
More than 30% of NASA innoÂvaÂtions are softÂware-based, and by makÂing its softÂware availÂable to the pubÂlic, it helps give a boost to entreÂpreÂneurs, small busiÂnessÂes, corÂpoÂraÂtions and acaÂdÂeÂmics. Ah, the benÂeÂfits of TechÂnolÂoÂgy TransÂfer.
AvailÂable in both hard copy and online, the softÂware archive is dividÂed into numerÂous catÂeÂgories, includÂing BusiÂness SysÂtems and Project ManÂageÂment, VehiÂcle ManÂageÂment, Data Servers and Process HanÂdling, Data and Image ProÂcessÂing, Design and InteÂgraÂtion Tools, and more. See all availÂable softÂware here.
